Vigorous online campaigns are being carried out by some associates of Nowhera Shaik to threaten victims from approaching police to lodge more complaints. The circulation of messages on social media, threatening investors about the intentional delay of the promised payments by the Heera Group has come to the notice of investigators recently. Even police personnel who are part of the investigating team are receiving emails in support of Nowhera and praising her activities.

Nowhera, who is currently in the custody of Mumbai police, will be brought to the city on a transit warrant by Kukatpally police of Cyberabad commissionerate, followed by the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department and then will be produced in the court in Hyderabad, as the Hyderabad High Court cancelled her bail petition.

“Some unidentified persons are circulating messages on Facebook and WhatsApp about delaying payments to

investors. The messages are threatening in nature and the investors were asked to not approach police to lodge complaints or they would not get their returns,” said detective department DCP Avinash Mohanty.

Another official from CCS said, “Not just the

investors, the investigating team is also receiving emails from unknown persons. At least 200 emails have been received so far, expressing support to Nowhera and condemning her arrest. However, none of them sent any threatening emails to police.”
