Selling manja

Hyderabad: Two stationery shop owners have been arrested by the Nacharam police for selling nylon manja (thread) used to fly kites. The accused V. Suresh Kumar, 35, and Mohammed Siddique, 35, jointly own the store and bought the manja for sale in the city. The duo have been apprehended for selling the banned threads and 58 such rolls have been seized. A case was booked against the duo on Sunday.
