ENCROACHMENTS REMOVED

As many as 300 temporary structures such as food stalls, hoardings and 20 permanent structures have been removed from the designer tiled sidewalks, footpaths, service roads and parking areas near Malakpet, Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, New Market and Victoria Memorial Metro stations. Hyderabad Metro Rail officials said that these illegal structures have come up during Assembly elections and no action has been taken ever since.
