YOUTH FROM 135 NATIONS RAISE NO-JOB CONCERN

Keeping in mind the common goal of sustainable development, youth from countries like Tanzania, Afghanistan, Syria and others arrived at the leadership conference organised by the Telangana Jagruthi with the hope of finding solutions to problems and to see how youth in other countries were managing such issues.

The migrant people from Afghanistan, who have pursued education in India have demanded solutions to their unemployment problem in India and questioned the panel during a discussion.

Ms Bibi Zareefa Amiri, from Afghanistan said, “There are no jobs for immigrants even for those who pursued education here and we are in dire need of a solution to this problem. Even private companies are denying jobs to us. Where do we go and how do we survive?”

Another student, Ms Alham Walid Al-Shurafat, came all the way from Jordan, to seek solutions to the water crisis that their country was facing and to see how India is managing its water resources and learnt that in order to maximise the utility of any resource one needs to focus on demand areas and peculiarities of the region and then should apply different strategies depending upon the demand areas.

And for Ms Tahani Yaghshi, from Syria, it was her will to show the positive impact that youth and especially young women in Syria were creating that motivated her to come all the way to India. Ms Suzanne Yumbe from Tanzania came to know how the youth in other countries were involved in the development of hygiene management issues.

Students and youth leaders from around 135 countries, across the world were at the conference conducted by the Telangana Jagurthi.
