Three try selling

Hyderabad: Bowenpally police have arrested three people on Thursday for possessing drugs illegally and seized 600 gm of Ephedrine. According to the police, the main accused T. Chenna Kesavulu Reddy and his accomplices came to Hyderabad to sell drugs. D. Swamy Goud, inspector, Bowenpally police station said, “The main accused Chenna Kesavulu Reddy and his friend Srinivas bought 600 gm of Ephedrine in 2017. As they couldn’t find prospective customers, Reddy kept the contraband in his possession. Meanwhile, he approached another friend Ramana who in turn contacted Ahmed Vali in Hyderabad. They made a deal to sell the drugs to Ahmed for `10 lakh”. Acting on a tip-off from sources, cops nabbed Ahmed, Reddy and Srinivas while they were waiting at Sweet Heart Restaurant in Tadbund. The other two accused Seenaiah Naidu and Ramana are absconding.
