JANA SENA ROPES IN FORMER PREZ KALAM’S ADVISER

Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s adviser Pon Raj will be serving the Jana Sena as he has just been appointed as a member of the party's Advisory Council. Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan announced that Mr Pon Raj had given his consent to serve as a member of the Advisory Council of the party. Mr Pawan Kalyan said six Parliament­ary committees for Eluru, Ankapalli, Amalapuram, Kakinada, Vizianagar­am and Araku seats, had already been appointed to strengthen the party.

Mr Kalyan said Mr Pon Raj had served the country as an advisor to Dr Abdul Kalam. His experience, suggestion­s and advice would help get on track the economic developmen­t of the backward classes and weaker sections of the society. His valuable thoughts as a member of the advisory council would boost the overall developmen­t of society, he said.

Mr Pon Raj said Mr Pawan Kalyan was a creative leader and he would definitely take Andhra Pradesh to the level of other developed nations. “I feel happy as Pawan Kalyan has a clear vision to develop the State and he has strong determinat­ion for achieving overall growth in Andhra Pradesh.”
