Metro Rail lifts a lovebirds’ haven
Couples have been caught getting cozy in the elevators of Metro stations, as couples have been caught kissing on cameras unaware of the presence of cameras on lifts.
The videos show young and restless couples in love in the lifts. While the lifts were set up to facilitate access, several youngsters were seen making out in them.
Videos of the act taken from CCTV extracts are being circulated. Lifts across all Hyderabad Metro stations are equipped with CCTV cameras.
HMR officials say, before the moral police gets to work, the matter will be investigated. Officials pointed out that they are trying to identify the stations where such scenes were captured and action shall be taken.
HMRL MD N.V.S. Reddy said, “This is first time such incidents have come to our notice. We asked the L&T to investigate the matter and check the authenticity and the locations. Based on the report, we will investigate and take preventive steps.”
