Pre-eclampsia tests now available

Hyderabad: Pre-eclampsia is an ailment that affects 28 million pregnancies in a year in India and is reported to be around 8 to 10 per cent, according to the National Health Portal of Government of India. To detect Preeclampsia which is a hypertensive disorder a test is now available with the gynaecologists. It is a protein biomarker to evaluate high risk pregnancies. The strip, similar to a home pregnancy kits, will help them take care of these patients from the first cycle of pregnancy.
