OLD-AGE HOMES

It is appreciated that the TS government has made it mandatory for all non-government organisations running old-age homes to register with designated authorities by February 28 (Registration call for old age homes, Feb. 7). Most of the old-age homes are operating in unhygienic conditions. Though they charge for bedside attendant, no such facility is being provided. After registration, the authorities should inspect all these homes frequently to keep a tab on them. Dinanath Shenolikar
