WAKF BOARD’S E-QAZZATH FROM MONDAY

The Wakf Board is introducing a new online facility, e-Qazzath, from Monday which enables applicants to apply online for certificates for marriage, divorce and Khula with an option to schedule their appointment for physical verification of documents and collection of certificates. The system also facilitates citizens to make payments online and reschedule their appointments.

Wakf Board chief executive officer Shahnawaz Khasim said e-Qazzath was being been introduced to prevent crowding at the Wakf Board office and cutting down the waiting time for applicants. Appointments are allotted according to the handling capacity of the board office on a particular day based on an automated queue management system. He said online payment will be the alternative mode.

Applicants who obtained confirmation of appointments and are unable to visit the board office can reschedule their appointments.
