MP: Rescue Telugu students in US

Hyderabad: TRS MP Jitender Reddy on Monday demanded that the Centre take immediate steps to rescue the Telugu students who were under police custody in the US. Speaking in Parliament during the Zero Hour, the MP said that several foreign students had fallen into the trap of a fake university set up by the US Homeland Security, including 600 students from AP and Telangana State. Stating that out of 600 students, 129 students were from Telangana, the MP told the Centre that the students did not know that it was a fake university when they applied to the university and left for the US.
