Deccan Club wins T20 cup
The Deccan Club secured a six-wicket victory over Secunderabad Club in the final of the Inter Club T20 tournament.
Sasha Giri, who was named the man of the tournament, starred for Deccan Club with a 39-run knock.
Venkat (24), Paramveer Singh (23) and Chaitainya (20) provided able support as the team chased down the target.
Batting first, Secunderabad Club set a target of 123 runs with Mickel Jaiswal (44) being the top scorer. Other than Jaiswal, Gajanand Reddy managed 27. But the rest of the team had a tough time facing the bowlers of Deccan Club.
Arjun proved to be most successful for Deccan Club as he picked up 3 wickets while only conceding 14 runs in his 4 over spell. Swaroop conceded 29 runs to take 2 wickets.
