KCR LIKELY TO TABLE BUDGET ON FEB. 22
The state government on Wednesday announced that a four-day Budget session of the Assembly would begin from February 22. And, on the first day, a vote on account would be presented in the House at 11.30 am.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao himself is likely to present the Budget while home minister Mohammed Mahamood Ali will table it in the Legislative Council simultaneously.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the Assembly sessions will conclude on February 25. After the presentation of the vote on account, discussions will be held on the next day.

The Appropriation Bill will be adopted by the house on February 25.
As a result of announcing the budget session’s dates, TRS MLAs expect that Chief Minister Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to expand the Cabinet before February 22.
Sources in the party revealed that in the event of a Cabinet expansion not taking place before February 22, it is obvious that the chief minister, who is currently holding all the portfolios including Finance, will certainly introduce the budget.
During the first session of the Assembly, Mr Chandrasekhar Rao had replied in the Assembly on the motion of thanks for the Governor’s speech while the Home Minister had replied in the Council.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao while holding the review with officials on the vote on account budget estimations, asked the officials to formulate the budget in such a way that it included all the commitments made to the people and maximum budgetary provision was made for the welfare of the people and for the development of agriculture.
