Once upon a time, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) had high reputation in keeping the incumbent government in check when they were spending the public money (NDA rafale deal cost 2.86% less, Feb. 14). However, the current CAG appears to have delivered a report which by far for the government, of the government and by the government to save the BJP government’s Rafale deal. The deal is so clean why is the Centre reluctant to accept a probe by Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). N. Nagarajan
