Telangana stir: C.M. apprises Nijalingappa

ANDHRA Pradesh Chief Minister Brahmananda Reddi said here today, that the Telangana agitation was not an organised move of any political party, but of some “interested politicians for their own ends.”

Talking to newsmen, Mr. Reddi said the agitation was sparked off by rival student leaders of Osmania University in their attempt to attract attention during the elections to their union.

While one wanted “quicker and proper implementation” of the Public Employment Act to the Telangana people, the other pleaded for a separate Telangana State.
