Techie, 25, ends life due to health issues

A software employee ended her life by asphyxiating herself by covering her face with a plastic cover on Saturday. According to the Madhapur police, the victim, V. Srividya, 25, hailed from Mumbai.

Srividya joined a women’s hostel in Madhapur on February 10. She had consulted several doctors about her health but could not find get help.

Madhapur sub-inspector A. Srinivas said, “She committed suicide on Friday by suffocating herself by covering her face with a polythene cover and tying it with a tape. It came to light on Saturday morning when the domestic help went to her room. The police found a suicide note in which she said no one was responsible for her death.”
