2 held for selling ganja, 900g seized
Hyderabad: Nacharam police arrested two persons for selling ganja and also exporting the contraband to Bengaluru. The seized 900 gm of ganja from the duo and remanded them to judicial custody on Sunday. According to Nacharam police, T. Manoj 22, unemployed from Manikeshwar Nagar and S. Laxman Raj, 22, of Indira Nagar were childhood friends. Manoj discontinued studies after intermediate and was living with his grandmother. Raj worked as car driver for some time, but he also stopped working. Meanwhile, Sai Krishna, a resident of Bengaluru, came in contact with Raj. The former is a ganja supplier and offered the latter to supply ganja to him. Raj and Manoj went to Araku with `10,000 and purchased five kg ganja. On receiving inputs, a team rushed Raj’s house and apprehended him along with Manoj and recovered 900 gm of ganja, a mobile phone and two SIM cards from him.
