DOCTORS ASSAULTED

This is not the first case where doctors were beaten up for doing their job (Man assaults Niloufer Jr doc, Feb. 17). Doctors are not killers. They save the lives of people. But these goons, who do not bother to care babies, dare to take law into their hands. It is high time that the government takes steps to punish such people so that the doctors can perform their duties fearlessly. T.P. Venkat Rao
