WHAT TO EXPECT FROM COMPUTEX 2019?
WHAT IS COMPUTEX? Computex is the second largest computing-centric trade show after the mammoth CES. Computex centres on core PC technology, AI, and IoT. Considering its size, it’s quite hard to track all the latest developments. So, here’s a brief overview
WHEN & WHERE?
The event will held at the Nangang Exhibition Center and various other hotels in Taipei, Taiwan between May 28 and June 1, 2019. The show is laden with laden with press-only events and press conferences but opens up for the public on June 1. The Monday “press day” before Computex opens typically sees the big news break, and the first Tuesday of the show sees additional high-profile launches and announcements.
AMD
After teasing the 7-nanometer Zen 2 architecture at CES, AMD is expected to reveal more details about it at Computex. Speculation is also rife that AMD will unveil the AMD Navi 10 graphics card.

With the company keeping a low profile since CES, it is hard to guess what it plans for Computex. However, reports suggest that the company may showcase the RoG Mothership at the event.

The company is likely to follow its trend from Computex 2018 and refresh its gaming laptops
INTEL
Having lost a chunk of it market to AMD, Intel will come swinging at Computex 2019 with an array of much-delayed 10nm processors.
MICROSOFT
With Microsoft announcing a host of developments at its Build event, the tech gaint is likely to showcase it Windows 10 update and a few of its refreshed Surface devices.
MSI
The company will continue from where it left off at CES 2019. At Computex, it is expected that the company will address the PC gamers segment with new hardwares.
NVIDIA
If the grapevine is to be believed, then the graphics card giant is likely to reveal 7nm Graphics gard. It will also unveil its workstation GPUs.
QUALCOMM
The company is expected to talk more about its Snapdragon 8cx mobile chip platform and effects of 5G.
OTHERS
Lian Li will surely be delivering some beautiful PC cases, G.Skill will probably show off some new RGB memory sticks, and BenQ will show off some new monitors for professionals and gamers.
