Hyderabad lose game to Bengal

Hyderabad were beaten by Bengal in the Under-23 Women one-day cricket match played in Mulapadu near Vijayawada on Tuesday.

Batting first, Bengal made 208 for the loss of five wickets with Dhara (71), Mamatha (33) and Kashish

(35 not out) being the main scorers. In reply, Hyderabad could only manage 198/7, thanks to half-centuries from Sneha More (61) and G. Trisha

(50). K. Anitha (36) and Sravya (28 not out) too played well but that was not enough for the team, which lost by 10 runs.

On the other hand, Andhra beat Odisha by five wickets. Anjali Sarvani

(6/11) and Sindhuja (3/7) proved too much for Odisha, who were bowled out for a paltry 45 in 34.1 overs. Andhra overhauled the target in 18.5 overs but after losing five wickets.
