Inter student commits suicide

Nirmal: An intermediate firstyear student committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the premises of the Social Welfare Residential college in Mudhole on Monday morning. The student was identified as Gangadhar. Relatives and family members staged a protest at the Mudhole main road and held the college principal Shivaram responsible. They said that Gangadhar would be alive if the principal had reacted early. The family said that Gangadhar had an affair about which he wrote in his diary that today was the last day of his life.
