7-year jail for sexual assault

Hyderabad: The Ranga Reddy district court on Monday convicted a man of sexually assaulting a minor and sentenced him to seven years of imprisonment on Monday. The case against P. Shivudu, 32, was booked on November 16, 2014, following a complaint to the Vikarabad police by the parents of the minor girl. Accused Shivudu was arrested and a chargesheet was filed before the Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court at LB Nagar in April 2015.
