Three famous temples in Karimnagar cancel pujas
The temple authorities of three famous temples situated in Vemulawada, Kondagattu and Dharmapuri towns of the erstwhile Karimnagar district has taken up several steps to prevent the spread of Coronavirus for the safety of the devotees.
In a statement, the executive officer Mr Hari Kishan stated that keeping in view of the present situation and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, all types of Arjitha Sevalu like Abhishekam, Anna puja, Kunkuma puja, Mahalingarchana, Pedda Seva and Pallaki Seva were cancelled for few days in the famous Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple situated in Vemulawada of Rajanna Siricilla district. He appealed the devotees to cooperate with the temple authorities.
With orders issued by temple EO Mr Hari Kishan, the temple staff after cleaning the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple along with the adjacent temples present at its premises closed the Dharmagundam and Kalyanakatta.
In Kondagattu, where the famous Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple was situated, the temple authorities are allowing the devotees only after confirming that they do not have any type of health complications. Even the temple priests are wearing masks while performing the prayers.
At the Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple situated in Dharmapuri, the temple authorities are taking precautionary steps from the past few days by cleaning the temple time-to-time along with sprinkling bleaching power in the surroundings of the temple.
They also arranged soaps and sanitisers along with clean water for the devotees who visit the temple and are allowing them to have darshan only after washing their hands thoroughly.
