30 new Covid cases in TS, 308 still active out of 364
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Monday said that as on Monday evening, there were a total of 308 active cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) in Gandhi Hospital. The total number of cases stood at 364, up 334 from Monday. The death toll stood at 11.
Addressing a press conference at Pragati Bhavan, the Chief Minister said that the state had so far recorded 11 Covid-19 related deaths, all of them linked directly or as a primary contact to the returnees of the congregation
AMONG THE TJ returnees, 170 have tested positive and another 93 persons, most of them primary contacts like family members, have also tested positive for Covid-19.

Mr Rao said, “a total of 1,089 returnees have been identified and tracked in the state. There are reports that another 30 to 35 people from TS may still be in Delhi. We believe they are quarantined.”
He informed that amongst the returnees, 170 have tested positive and another 93 persons, most of them primary contacts like family members, have also tested positive for
Covid-19.
He said, “in the first phase, the government has quarantined 25,937 foreign returnees and during tests, 30 of them were found tested positive. Another 20 of their primary contacts also tested positive.”
The CM said that in all 50 cases, no one has died and
35 of them have been discharged. The remaining 15 would also be discharged soon.
