KERALA REVISES NORMS FOR QUARANTINE

In view of the heavy rush of Keralites coming in from outside the state, the government has revised the quarantine norms for people coming from red zones even as seven Covid19 case were reported in the state on Monday.

As per the revised plan, people coming from the red zone will be permitted to go under home quarantine for 14 days.

Earlier, the government had made institutio­nal quarantine mandatory for people coming from red zones. However, if a person is tested positive during the screening test at the entry checkpoint, he will be shifted to institutio­nal quarantine.
