150 MIGRANTS WHO RETURNED TO BIHAR TEST +VE FOR COVID

The state health department on Monday said that 150 migrants who have returned from other states have tested positive for Covid-19.

As per an assessment, more than 1 lakh persons have been kept in isolation centres. Data released by the state health department shows that 41 migrants from National Capital Region, 33 from Gujarat, 36 from Maharashtra, 10 from Telangana and 3 from Haryana have been found infected with the virus.

“150 migrants who returned between May 4 and May 10 have been found infected with the disease. They have been kept in isolation centres,” Sanjay Kumar, principal health secretary said.
