TEENAGE GIRL HIT BY SPEEDING TRUCK DIES

A teenage girl, who was travelling on a scooter with her mother and sibling, died after being hit by a speeding truck at Miyapur. According to Miyapur police, the victim Mandula Lasya Priya was a resident of Kohir village in Zaheerabad.

On Monday evening, the girl, along with her mother Rekha and brother Sai Bhargav, met with a road accident at Miyapur X roads. A speeding truck (TS 15 UD 9189) moving from Chandanagar to Kukatpally rammed into the bike. Rekha and Bhargav fell to the left, while Lasya Priya fell to the right side and the truck ran over her.

With the help of locals, she was shifted to a nearby private hospital where she succumbed while undergoing treatment, said police, who registered a case.
