AP CROSSES 10K MARK AGAIN, 75 DIE OF COVID-19
In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh has recorded 10,199 new Covid-19 cases taking its tally to 4,65,739. 75 deaths took the death toll to 4,200.
The state health authorities in their Covid-19 bulletin on Thursday reported that out of
62,225 samples tested, 10,199 individuals have been tested
Covid-19 positive. Out of total number of 39,05,775 samples tested so far, 3,57,829 patients have been discharged after recovery while 1,03,701 patients are still active with the virus and are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the state.
Among new confirmed coronavirus infections, East Godavari tops the state with 1,090, followed by 982 in Nellore, 926 in Prakasam, 898 in Kadapa, 885 in Chittoor, 854 in Anantapur, 836 in West Godavari, 805 in Guntur, 717 in Srikakulam, 695 in Visakhapatnam, 616 in Kurnool, 577 in Vizianagaram and 318 in Krishna.
In terms of cumulative Covid
19 positive cases, East Godavari has been the worst hit with
62,900, followed by 46,871 in Kurnool, 43,248 in Anantapur,
39,775 in West Godavari, 39,726 in Chittoor, 38,889 in Visakhapatnam, 38,083 in Guntur, 33,663 in Nellore, 28,811 in Kadapa, 26,027 in Srikakulam, 25,444 in Prakasam, 22,088 in Vizianagaram,
17,310 in Krishna, 2,461 from other states and 434 from other countries.
