Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni turned a year older on Tuesday, and the Kapoor family gathered together to celebrate the occasion in full pomp. While the photos from the party are doing the rounds, it was the surprise gift that caught everybody’s attention.

For her sister’s 40th birthday, actor Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Alia Bhatt starred in a dance tribute video. Along with these A-listers, the video also had mother Neetu Kapoor, aunt Reema Jain, husband Bharat Sahni, and cousin Aadar Jain swaying to the catchy beats of Aap Jaisa Koi from the film Qurbaani. Taking to her Instagram, Riddhima shared the video with a caption, “Best birthday surprise! Fab u guys Thank you everyone (sic).” She later deleted the video.

Wishing her daughter, mum Neetu got emotional. She posted a photo of the two, and wrote, “In my head she is my lil girl but what she has been for the past few months has been amazing !!! She has been strict at the same time always watched me like a hawk !! we have cried we have laughed played scrabble (most of the time she lost ) cannot be another like her... happy big 40 cuteness (sic).”

The party also had Riddhima’s famous cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor in attendance. While they too shared pictures from the bash, it was Riddhima’s unfettered attitude that won the night. Posting a selfie, she wrote, “Welcoming the 40s — New beginnings new ideas new energy! Bring it on. (sic)”
