CLP leader says welfare activities ignored; accuses BJP of making empty threats
Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka expressed dissatisfaction with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s governance, saying that people were suffering and the ministers were not addressing the situation. People had no chance to approach officials because there was no Secretariat.
The CM had failed to provide ‘nirudyoga bruthi’, the dole that he had promised the unemployed. There was no movement on filling 2.5 lakh vacancies in the government. Bhatti was speaking at a press conference at the Assembly media point.He pointed out that the government had not provided SC subsidy funds to the beneficiaries for the last two years. The same situation situation prevailed in the minorities and BC corporations.
The CLP leader said the ministers’ only interest was in doing “bhajana” for Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his son, IT minister K.T. Rama Rao. The Cabinet was busy demanding that Rama Rao be made CM.
Chandrashekar Rao was diverting the attention of the people from his failures with the proposal to make Rama Rao the CM.
BJP state president Bandi Sanjay was making sensational statements only for his advertisement, Bhatti said. He demanded that Sanjay if he had the guts to get the Centre to order a probe into irrigation projects and Chandrashekar Rao’s corruption. He asked Sanjay if the BJP was ready to arrest Chandrashekar Rao.
At a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, party spokesperson Medipally Satyam criticised called Chandrashekar Rao an incompetent CM and asked the TRS leaders to agree that he had failed to rule the state. He demanded that the TRS chief make a Dalit MLA the CM as was promised during the statehood agitation.
Satyam asked government Whip Balka Suman and Dalit MLAs why they were not demanding that one among them be made Chief Minister.
