KCR owes each youth `72K as unemployment arrears: Bandi
BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said here on Thursday that each unemployed youth in Telangana state has a right to get `72,000 as unemployment allowance, based on an unfulfilled promise from Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao in the 2018 Assembly elections.
“For the last 24 months, the state government has defaulted in paying the `3,000 as unemployment allowance,” he said.
“K.Chandrashekar Rao had promised government jobs for each household in the state and `3,000 as unemployment allowance to the youth. Also, minister KT Rama Rao gave false information on jobs provided to the youth.”
The BJP chief called upon the youth to question the ruling TRS leaders on non-payment of unemployment allowance and demand it for the past 24 months too.
Banswada assembly constituency Congress leader V.Malyadri Reddy and a few TRS and Congress activists joined the BJP in the presence of the party state chief. MP Dharmapuri Arvind, BJP district president, former MLA Aruna Tara, former MLAs Endala Laxminarayana, Kuna Srisailam Goud, former zp chairman K.Venkataramana Reddy and others were present.
Speaking at a public meeting in Banswada of Kamareddy district, organised by BJP Kamareddy district unit, Bandi Sanjay predicted that the BJP will form the next government in Telangana in 2023.
“MIM party won 5 MLA seats in Bihar state, where the Muslims population is a mere 12 per cent. “If so, the 80 per cent Hindus in Telangana will as well vote for the BJP in 2023,” he asked.
Bandi Sanjay reiterated that the BJP is not against Muslims and Christians, but it would protect the interests of the Hindus. He recalled that a few party leaders including then Nizamabad BJP district president Revuri Surender was shot dead by Naxalites and their sacrifices will yield results in the next assembly elections. To end the dictatorship, the corrupt family rule of TRS, BJP will fight courageously,” he said.
