Dads cherish bonding time
One good the pandemic brought about was dads realising how the lockdown helped them strengthen bonds with their kids
With almost a whole year gone since the pandemic toppled our worlds, one thing we’ve all learned for sure is the importance of having a loving family around us. Adding to that thought is a recent Harvard study, which found that 70% of dads felt closer to their children during the pandemic. Interestingly, the results were found to be true across all races, education levels and all other demographics.
Busy fathers were finally able to spend guilt-free family time, and most of them admitted to this period helping them strengthen their emotional bonds with their kids. We spoke to a cross-section of dads who shared their experiences during the lockdown and how the period helped them connect with their children more closely.

Sania Mirza’s sister, Anam recently celebrated her birthday with a few close friends in attendance and a live band that sang old Hindi numbers. Posters of her favourite actor, Shah Rukh Khan were put up in good humor while the doting hubby played the perfect host. Spotted at the do were Varun Bhargavi Reddy, Lavraj Bhalerao Anil Kumar Yadav among others.

.F. Husain’s house on Road no 12 Banjara Hills has been bought by a new investor and nobody yet knows what he plans to do with this property. With the sudden outcry from art lovers, about how this iconic property should have been preserved and not sold, the new owner is keeping a low profile, and is rather miffed with this unwanted publicity.
While the artist was alive he used to host a number of small exhibitions there. His priceless works were displayed all over the house. Now, we hear, all of the paintings in this house have been removed by Husain’s children since the home has been sold.
Badrivishal Pittie, a very close friend of the artist, is said to have a fabulous collection of Husain’s works.
