21,207 GET JAB IN 333 GOVT, PVT FACILITIES

A total of 21,207 beneficiaries were vaccinated in 333 government and private healthcare facilities on Thursday, the health department said.

In the government sector,

8,986 beneficiaries of the 9,378 who had enlisted for the shots received the vaccine. In the private sector, 12.221 of the

13,274 applicants took the vaccine.

Besides, 917 healthcare workers took their first shot during the day, 3,452 got their second vaccination. For frontline workers, the figures stood at

536 and nine respectively. So far, 5,05,542 have been vaccinated in the state of whom

49,762 are above 60 years age and also those who are 45 years old and suffering from co-morbid conditions.
