POLICE SUBMIT REPORT IN KANGANA CASE

The police are investigating allegations of posting hateful messages on social media. After receiving the police report on Thursday, the magistrate heard arguments from the parties and posted the matter for passing order on April 5.
The magistrate in October last had ordered police to conduct an inquiry into the private complaint filed by advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh who alleged that Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel had posted an objectionable message on Twitter in April last year, targeting a particular community, following which her Twitter account was suspended.
According to the complaint, later Ranaut posted a video in support of her sister.
