Nazeer, Brandon, Bharath advance
Mohammed Nazeeruddin, Brandon, Bharath and Syed Ahmed sailed into the quarterfinals of the senior snooker category at the Telangana State Ranking Snooker & Billiards Championship being played at the Telangana Cue Sports Association premises at Khajaguda on Thursday.
Nazeeruddin was too good for Clinton as he clipped him 4-0 — 8812,
59-20, 59-47, 87-1 while Brandon prevailed over D. Aravind, taking him out at 4-1 — 74-68, 62-35, 42-65,
59-14, 65-60.
Bharath had a bit of a struggle before overcoming Ranjit 4-3 — 6843, 37-45, 50-45, 51-62, 48-61, 37-25, 7549 while Syed Ahmed was a little better as he rallied past Rizwan 4-2 — 77-48, 73-43, 38-58, 76-56, 38-78, 6345.
