The gorgeous Manushi Chhillar, squash sensation Dipika Pallikal and 24year-old boxing prodigy Nikhat Zareen are coming together to raise awareness on equality in a new campaign aimed at inspiring young girls across India to dream big.
According to a source, “The campaign titled ‘Make a Move’ is aimed at encouraging and motivating women to overcome social and psychological barriers. It will bring out incredible stories of women around the world who have bested such barriers. Young achievers who have lived and realised their goals on their own terms and made the country proud have been roped in to spearhead this initiative.”
Manushi, who is set to make her movie debut in Prithviraj, and Dipika and Nikhat are all achievers in their respective fields, and will ensure that the campaign reaches the target audience in the sporting, media and entertainment industry.
“I’m delighted to be a part of a campaign that aims at propelling women to break barriers and shatter glass ceilings,” said Manushi. “What I loved about the initiative is that this is essentially a platform to inspire women to be more confident, self-assured and ambitious,” she said, responding to a question. “I relate to this a lot because it is imperative for us to tell girls to overcome psychological barriers and feel positive about their bodies and celebrate their achievements to foster a really positive attitude towards life.”
“It is an honour for me to be a part of a campaign that also has achievers like Nikhat and
Dipika,” said Manushi.
