●ADDRESSING A press conference, the former MP alleged that Rama Rao’s accusations against the Centre on issues like ITIR and Kazipet railway coach factory were ridiculous and unfounded.

HE SAID that due to the non-implementation of Aayusman Bharath scheme in Telangana, people of the State had lost around `300 crore Central funds.

Senior BJP leader G. Vivek Venkataswamy, on Friday accused IT minister K.T. Rama Rao of lying with regard to development of the state and making baseless allegations against the Union government.

Addressing a press conference, the former MP alleged that Rama Rao’s accusations against the Centre on issues like ITIR and Kazipet railway coach factory were ridiculous and unfounded.

Pulling up the minister for his accusation that the Centre had not granted Mudra loans, the BJP leader said that on the contrary, the Centre had allocated `4,705 crore under the Mudra loan scheme. Stating that they had received 11 lakh Mudra loan applications, he asked Rama Rao to visit the Mudra website to get the data that is in public domain.

He alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and Rama Rao were not keen on implementing Central schemes as they feared the credit would go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government at the Centre.

He said that due to the non-implementation of Aayusman Bharath scheme in Telangana, people of the State had lost around `300 crore Central funds.

He attributed Hyderabad’s low No. 24 rank according to the latest national data to the greed of the father and his son, who, he said, were spending time in the farm house and attending to their personal businesses rather than developing Hyderabad.
