WAKF BOARD SHUTS COVID-HIT MARRIAGE WING

The Qazath section (Marriage Section) of Wakf Board on Thursday closed down after three employees tested Coronavirus positive.

The general public was restricted to enter the Haj House considering the spike in Covid-19 cases in the city. The section was sanitised.

Chairman of the Board Mohammed Saleem instructed the security personnel not to allow visitors in a group. Only those wearing masks are being allowed after they are duly sanitised.

He asked the officials to maintain Covid protocol and keep the building hygienic. He appealed to the people to avoid frequent visits to the offices in Haj House.
