KCR PUSHED TS INTO DEBT TRAP: KOMATIREDDY
Congress leader and Bhongir Lok Sabha MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy alleged that the TRS government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had pushed revenue-surplus Telangana state into a debt trap with its misrule during the past seven years.
He urged voters to defeat the TRS in the Nagarjunasagar Assembly bypoll on April 17 and teach a fitting lesson to Rao and to save Telangana from the “family and dictatorial rule” of Rao.
Campaigning for party candidate K. Jana Reddy on Thursday, Komatireddy said while Sonia Gandhi had granted statehood to Telangana state to stop suicides of Telangana youth due to unemployment, Rao failed to provide employment due to which youth continue to commit suicides.
He alleged that Rao made `4 lakh crore debt for his selfish interests in the last seven years. He criticised Rao for not sanctioning funds to complete balance Srisailam project tunnel works though major part of the works were completed during Congress regime itself.
“KCR is discriminating Nalgonda.
He is focussed only on taking up irrigation and development works only in his home district Medak. This is the ideal opportunity for Nagarjunasagar voters to teach fitting lesson to KCR for ignoring Nalgonda all these years. They should defeat the TRS and open the eyes of KCR,” he remarked.
