Second wave causes delay in Shah Rukh Khan’s return, both on the big screen and TV

The actor has been off the screens for a long time for various reasons. And even as he has started shooting for his next venture Pathan, the television show that he was to host has been pushed behind.

According to sources, the current COVID situation has caused delay in SRK’s getting back to hosting the third season of the acclaimed show,

India: Nayi Soch.

“The first two seasons went off really well and the makers were keen on getting back soon for the third season. Work had started in 2020 itself and there was a delay due to the pandemic. While everyone did believe that early 2021 would provide some respite, the second wave across the country

TED Talks and the world has resulted delay,” a source informs.

Sources also tell us that a lot of people involved in the project are from the United States and the parent organizati­on TED, who will also be needed during the shoot. Apparently, the postponeme­nt of the third season was also because of their unavailabi­lity.
