Give Aarogyasri for Covid: Cong.

Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, who had assured the Legislative Assembly that the government would bring Coronavirus treatment under Aarogyasri, had now completely forgotten about it.

In a media statement here on Saturday, Venkat Reddy lashed out at the state government for the “pitiable” state of Covid-19 treatment and other related issues. He recalled that the people were asking minister K.T. Rama Rao when the government would include Covid-19 treatment under Aarogyasri. He said the minister and his task force committee were useless in the current situation.

The MP stated that history would never forgive the Chandrashekar Rao and Rama Rao if Aarogyasri cover was not extended to Covid-19 treatment.

“If you can't protect people at this critical juncture, why do you hang on to the chief ministership?. Do you rule for the people or to make money for your family,” he asked.
