CONGRESS MP TESTS NEGATIVE BUT CONDITION WORSENS

Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Satav's health has deteriorated once again due to pneumonia and cytomegalovirus. A few days ago, his Covid test came negative. The Maharashtra Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat met to Mr. Satav in Pune’s Jehangir hospital on Saturday.

Maharashtra public health minister Rajesh Tope told the reporters that Mr. Satav’s condition is delicate. Mr. Tope has spoken with Jehangir Hospital’s director to enquire about the MPs health. He would meet Mr. Satav on Sunday.

“The doctors are trying their level best. He is on a ventilator and recovering from the disease but he is suffering from Cytomegalovirus,” Mr Tope said.

Mr Satav is being treated for Cytomegalovirus but he is suffering from additional infections also. As a result, his condition is critical.
