NEW DELHI, MAY 15. British Labour member of parliament Bruce Douglas-mann said today that the idea of a single State of Pakistan was now, BBC reports.
Moving a motion in the British Parliament, the opposition leader called on Britain to seek admission of international relief organisations into East Bengal. Mr. Douglas-Mann, who had recently visited the border areas of India to assess the Bangla Desh situation for himself, said the British Government could secure an end to the strife in Pakistan by suspending all aid to that country. he was supported by opposition spokesman Denis Healey.
