- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD, MAY 28

Covid-19 appears reluctant to let go of its grip on Telangana, with the state reporting a marginal drop in new cases on Friday. As many as 3,527 new infections were reported in the day’s medical bulletin, down from 3,614 on Thursday.

The number of those dead from Covid-19 as per the list provided by the state health department went up further to 19, taking the toll to

3,226. The caseload stands at

5,71,044.

504 on Thursday. Eleven of the

33 districts reported marginal increases in cases.

The next highest number of cases, 218, was reported from Nalgonda, followed by 215 in Khammam. This is a change from the pattern, where Ranga Reddy and MedchalMalkajgiri, which are adjacent to Hyderabad, record, the most cases outside the GHMC area. These two districts reported
