Poorna’s new Hollywood project

Bankrolled by the Duplass Brothers, the film is being directed by Megan Griffiths, who made films such as Eden (2012), Lucky Them (2013) and Sadie (2018).

In I’ll Show You Mine, Poorna plays Priya Sura, an author who interviews her own nephew in a public forum as he embraces his pansexuality, which ultimately leads to the revelation of many secrets. Playing an important role in the film is also actor Casey Thomas Brown.

Recently seen in the Netflix show Never Have I Ever and the Apple series Defending Jacob, Poorna has been seen in films and projects such as The Night Of, Better Call Saul, Ramy and Big Little Lies.

Bollywood audiences first saw the talented Poorna Jagnnathan in the 2011-film Delhi Belly with Imran Khan and then in the 2013-film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor.

The multilingual 48-yearold actress based in the US is the daughter of an Indian diplomat and has a strong command over English, Hindi, Tamil, Spanish and Portuguese.
