SSR’s flatmate arrested at Hyderabad…

…ahead of first anniversary of actor’s death

Siddharth Pithani, who was Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate for a year, was arrested by a special team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) from Hyderabad on Friday morning.

Sources in the NCB tell us that the arrest was made in connection with the death of Sushant in June last year. Siddharth was one of the four people present at Sushant’s home when the latter was found hanging in his Bandra flat on June 14, 2020.

“He had already been quizzed by the cops as well as the CBI. There has been some prima facie information about his involvement and hence he has been arrested. It will be a year in a fortnight from now since Sushant died, and people are looking for answers,” the source says.

Many conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds since Sushant’s death. The actor’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik too were arrested by the agency earlier, and are now out on bail.
