Big B buys big bungalow
The veteran actor has bought a fancy property in Mumbai

Bachchan has reportedly bought a duplex apartment worth `31 crore. The property is being constructed by a
tier-2 builder,
Crystal Group, under a project named ‘Atlantis’.
Big B had reportedly bought the apartment in
December last year but registered the property with the
Department of
Registration and
Stamps only in April this year, paying a stamp duty of `62 lakh. A source close to the development told Business Standard that Big B’s 5,184sq-ft. apartment has six car-parking slots and is situated on the 27th and 28th floors of the building. Amitabh Bachchan already owns four bungalows in Mumbai—‘Pratiksha’, ‘Janak’, ‘Vatsa’ and ‘Jalsa’. He currently lives in Jalsa with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya.

According to several other media reports, actress Sunny
Leone and filmmaker Aanand L Rai have also bought properties in the same project. While some reports state that the project is in
Andheri, others have mentioned that it is in Oshiwara, the suburb adjacent to Andheri.
In the meanwhile, actor Arjun Kapoor, who has been enjoying the success of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Sardar ka Grandson, has reportedly treated himself to a brand new property in Mumbai’s Bandra, one of Mumbai’s posh locales. Kapoor recently completed ten years of being in the film industry and reports suggest that to mark the milestone, he has bought a swanky four-bedroom-hall-kitchen sky-villa. Bandra houses some of the biggest names in Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
