Bandi asks CM about jobs for youths

- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD JUNE 1

BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said on Tuesday that though seven years have passed after the formation of Telangana, the youth in the state are suffering due to lack of jobs and employment.

“There was a Telangana movement for Neellu, Nidulu, and Niyamakalu. But water went to the chief minister’s farm house, funds went to his benamis and employment was given to his family members. This is what happened since 2014,” Sanjay said.

Addressing the media in Delhi, Bandi expressed concern that millions of youths in the state have no job for years and many educated are crossing their age limit for government jobs.

Some 25 lakh people have registered with the TSPSC for jobs in the state as was stated by former chairman of TSPSC Ghanta

Chakrapani.

Sanjay also recalled that the Biswal Committee had announced that there existed some 2.90 lakh job vacancies in the state but unfortunately, the state government has not issued a Group 1 notification to fill these posts. Teacher posts were not filled after the formation of Telangana, he said, and added that the TRS government cheated the voters by saying they would be given unemployment benefits before the Graduate MLC elections.

The BJP state president said the Chief Minister had promised that he will notify

50,000 jobs after the completion of the graduate quota MLC elections. “Till today, there is no such action.”

He also said 12,000 education volunteers are starving due to the Corona spread. Nearly

20,000 contract employees were laid off.
