KCR: Will not rest until ‘Bangaru’ TS is achieved
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao said that he will not rest till his dream of “Bangaru Telangana” is achieved. In a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office on Tuesday, the CM greeted the people of the state on the eve of the seventh Telangana State Formation Day on Wednesday.
“With many battles, sacrifices, martyrdom, we have achieved Telangana state in a parliamentary democratic way,” the CM said. The state has excelled in all sectors within a short span of seven years, the state laid strong foundations and offered stability, he said.
“The Telangana state is fulfilling the demands of the statehood movement one by one. Water for the irrigation and drinking, power, medical and health, roads and all other infrastructure facilities are being provided, reaching shortterm and long-term aims.” the CM said.
The CM said he is felt proud to announce that the 29th state had made rapid strides in the development and welfare sectors and became role model for the other states and the country as well.
Rao said that every sector that was neglected in undivided AP now being corrected. As Telangana society has constitutes 90 per cent of people from the SC, ST, BC and minorities communities, the government has been working for their welfare. The government has been successful in reviving and revitalising agricultural operations by constructing irrigation projects and stabilising the farm sector. The government was also successful in strengthening the rural economy. The CM said the people had contributed to the success and thanked them for the same.
Though a great economic loss had been caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, with the people’s support the state is marching forward, he said. The faith and confidence reposed in him by the people, the CM said, is rock solid support. He said he would not rest till with the people’s support he makes it Bangaru Telangana, a golden state.
