More actresses pitch in
Across the country, actresses have been doing their bit to help the needy
Pooja Hegde is helping those in need during the pandemic. The actress, who was also infected by the virus but has now recovered, was spotted organising and distributing a whole month’s rations for about hundred families.
Likewise, actress Tisca Chopra collaborated with a leading rice manufacturer as well as Chef Vikas Khanna’s charity organisation to donate rice packets to the needy. The actress’ parents also came out to help her while she undertook this noble deed. The actress was spotted at a Chandigarh Gurudwara with her parents. “My parents are so happy that even at their age, they could lift bags and bags of rice without hesitating to help provide food to COVID staff at hospitals,” she adds.
Sharing some inspiring stories of COVID heroes, actress Diana Penty has also managed to support various small groups in their relief activities, thus helping the people in dire need of funds, food and medicines. Diana even managed to raise a substantial sum of money while highlighting the work of these good samaritans. Thanking everyone for their notable donations, Diana says, “With their support, these amazing humans have been able to do some incredible work to help those in need during these difficult times. I request everyone to open their hearts and help them in any way that you can, so that they can continue to make a difference.
